Ingredients:
Baking ingredients
For the cream:
3 cans of milk cream
2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
2 packets of passion fruit juice powder or flavor of your choice
For the Ganache:
1 box of milk cream
200g of dark chocolate, chopped
Prepare the Cream Layer
Gather Ingredients:
Measure out the milk cream, sweetened condensed milk, and passion fruit juice powder.
Blend the Mixture:
Place all the ingredients into a blender. Start blending at a low speed to combine, then increase to high speed. Continue blending for about 5 minutes. This step ensures that the mixture becomes smooth and fluffy.
Check the Consistency:
The cream should have a light, creamy texture without lumps. If it looks too thick you can add a tablespoon of milk to adjust.
Pour into a Dish:
Take a clean glass or ceramic dish. Pour the blended cream into the dish, using a spatula to spread it out evenly. This will form the first layer of your dessert.
2. Make the Chocolate Ganache
Melt the Chocolate:
Double Boiler Method:
Place a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, ensuring the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water. Add the chopped dark chocolate to the bowl and stir occasionally until fully melted.
Microwave Method:
Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in short 30-second bursts. After each interval, stir the chocolate thoroughly to prevent burning. Repeat until melted.
Add the Milk Cream:
Once the chocolate is fully melted, slowly pour in the milk cream while stirring continuously. This step ensures the ganache becomes glossy and smooth. Keep mixing until there are no streaks of cream left.
Let It Cool Slightly:
Allow the ganache to sit for a minute or two to cool down before assembling. This prevents it from melting the cream layer when added.
3. Assemble the Dessert
Layer the Ganache:
Take the dish with the prepared cream layer out. Gently pour the chocolate ganache over the top. Use a spatula to spread it around so that the top is evenly covered.
Refrigerate:
Place the assembled dessert into the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 30 to 40 minutes. This sets the layers so it will be firm for the best texture.
After an hour, check that the ganache has thickened and the cream layer is set.
4. Serve and Enjoy
Remove from the Fridge: Take the dessert out of the refrigerator just before serving.
Cut and Plate:
Use a sharp knife to cut the dessert into neat squares or slices.
Add Finishing Touches:
For a decorative flair, you can sprinkle some passion fruit powder, chocolate shavings, or fresh passion fruit pulp on top.
